pre-established flight path.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">The station's VOR antenna emits a VHF radio frequency signal in all directions, which is received by the VOR equipment of any aircraft within range and tuned to the station's frequency (which can range from 108.00 to 117.95 MHz modulated FM).<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">This equipment when combined with the DME allows to calculate the exact position in distance and direction, this is how this equipment becomes vital for the mapping of navigation routes and
