These data are used both for the elaboration of weather forecasts based on numerical models as well as for climate studies.<\/p><p>Common instruments and variables measured at a weather station include:<\/p><ul><li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Thermometer:<\/strong> temperature meter at different times of the day.<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Subsoil thermometers<\/strong> (geothermometers): temperature meter at 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 cm depth.<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Minimum floor thermometer:<\/strong> measures the minimum temperature at a distance of 15 cm above the floor.<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Thermograph:<\/strong> automatically records temperature fluctuations.<\/li><li><strong>Barometer <\/strong>is responsible for measuring the atmospheric pressure at the surface.<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Pluviometer:<\/strong> measures the amount of water falling on the ground in the form of rain, snow or hail.<\/li><li><strong>Psychrometer or hygrometer:<\/strong> measures the relative humidity of the air and the dew point temperature.<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Pyranometer:<\/strong> measurement of global solar radiation (direct + diffuse).<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Heliograph: <\/strong>measurement of sunlight hours.<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Anemometer:<\/strong> wind speed measurement.<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Vane:<\/strong> indicates wind direction.<\/li><li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Nephobasimeter: <\/strong>measures the height of the clouds, but only at the point where it is <strong>RVR equipment<\/strong> for more than <strong>10 years<\/strong>.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>RVR<\/strong> is a landing instrument that provides information on runway visibility conditions to pilots, <strong>air traffic services<\/strong> (ATS) units and other aeronautical users during periods of low visibility.<\/p><p>The RVR assessment provides a meteorology system that not only starts from the observation of meteorological parameters, but also has detailed information and guidance on the subject.<\/p><p>Runway lights are an element to be considered for this technique, as these visual aids can considerably improve visibility in times of visibility
