Radiocom S.A.S has been working since 2017 together with the American company Flash Technology (founded in 1970 and with more than 43,000 systems installed around the world) with the objective of providing the service Beaconing and obstruction lights for communication towers, electrical transmission towers, bridges, buildings and wind farms in Colombia.
In 2019, Radiocom successfully installed a preventive lighting system for the electrical transmission towers near the Los Garzones Airport in Monteria. Thanks to the fact that our lights meet all ICAO and FAA requirements, our system was successfully approved by the Aeronautica Civil de Colombia.
With more than 10 years of experience, Radiocom S.A.S has qualified personnel and sufficient experience to successfully install runway marking systems such as edge lights, threshold and wing bar, threshold identification, center, TDZ and displaced threshold. , identifying the number of these depending on the type of runway, whether IFR (Instrumental Flight Rules) or VFR (Visual Flight Rules). With the support of our overseas partners, we have successfully completed more than 6 beacon projects.
Main equipment of the lighting approach system (PAPI) for airports and heliports. The glide signal device is determined by marking the descent path for airplanes or helicopters at the time of landing at the airport. The pilot obtains information about the slope of the descent path based on the lights on on the PAPI equipment.
